Two 1950s Steel Frame Orange and Lemon Cabinets by George Nelson
  • Two 1950s Steel Frame Orange and Lemon Cabinets by George Nelson

    £0.00Price

A pair of vibrant 1950s "Steel Frame" cabinets by George Nelson for Herman Miller.

In wood and steel with original lemon, orange and olive paintwork and black melamine surface, these cabinets are vivid examples of American mid-century modernism.

One is a chest of drawers, the other a cabinet with one drawer. They can be placed together to create a sideboard, or paired separately.

There is minimal wear. The original chrome handles have some very minor crazing in places. The black surfaces are in excellent vintage condition. The paintwork has one or two small scuffs, commensurate with age.

The 1950s Herman Miller label is affixed to the drawer of the chest.
