An original pair of 1950s Danish safari chairs by Kaare Klint for Rud. Rasmussen.
First produced in 1933, these examples were made in the 1950s from oak wood and now beautifully patinated leather.
With leather seat, back, straps and brass detail they are sturdy and elegant examples. The oak has strikingly figured grain.
A pair of padded leather cushions by Arne Norell are included for a high level of comfort. They are of similar vintage to the chairs.
They are stamped to the back struts with the original serial numbers.
They are in very good condition for their age. There are no structural defects whatsoever.
