1960s Rosewood Extending Dining Table by Hans Brattrud

A richly figured extending dining or conference table in Rio rosewood by Hans Brattrud for Hove Mobler.
 
With two leaves, it can extend from 115cm diameter to an impressive length of 210cm, seating up to 12.
 
In excellent restored condition, it has only very minor signs of vintage. The chromed hairpin legs have very minor oxidation in places.
 
The mechanism runs smoothly and is in robust condition.
 
Dating from the 1960s, there are one or two light surface marks but they do not detract from the fabulous overall impression.
