A very large, signed, limited edition screen print from Peter Blake's 1991 Alphabet Series, entitled "X is for Xylophonist".
It is numbered 45/95, titled and signed in pencil. It is framed and glazed in a white frame with green border. This bold artwork is in good, clean condition.
It depicts the famous xylophonists Little Doreen and Reg Redcliffe, in keeping with Blake's fascination with people and objects who have made their mark on British popular culture.
Amongst his finest works, the Alphabet collection employs "found' imagery sourced from magazines, postcards and other popular ephemera.
