A floating wall desk / cabinet with shelving in teak by Sven Ellekaer for Albert Hansen.
Ellekaer designs were imported from Denmark by Raymor in the 1960s. It is labelled accordingly.
It has been fully restored and re-finished, retaining the deep, warm colour of the midcentury teak.
It comes complete with original brass key and fittings. The design quality is evident in the maple interior, sculpted handles, brass detailing, and functional versatility.
The glass shelf is newly re-made. The sliding brass stays ensure a secure surface for laptop or other desk use.
