A set of eight original 1960s hide and chromed steel chairs by Italian makers Dal Vera, as selected by Charlotte Perriand for the "Les Arcs" ski resort.
With beautiful patina, they are in good structural condition. The chrome has some marks commensurate with age. The leather has some barely visible reinforcements to the rear.
An associate of Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand is a figurehead of 20th century architecture and interior design. Les Arcs ski resort is considered to be the pinnacle of her career. This large set will create a modernist environment reminiscent of her greatest achievement.
