Early Swedish "Annika" Coffee Table by Bruno Mathsson, circa 1940

Early Swedish "Annika" Coffee Table by Bruno Mathsson, circa 1940

£1,800.00Price

A graceful early "Annika" coffee table by Swedish designer Bruno Mathsson for Firma Karl Mathsson.

The Annika table was designed in 1936, this early example manufactured circa 1940.

The sinuous bent plywood legs support a mahogany-veneered top.

The mahogany surface has been carefully reconditioned, returning it to its rich original colour. We have included a photo prior to its restoration.

This table would complement similar mid-century bentwood furniture, such our "Linden" chairs by GA Jenkins (pictured).
