A 1970s Danish "model 4" drop-leaf table by Norwegian designer Bendt Winge for Kleppe Møbelfabrikk.
The luxurious Rio rosewood surface has a rich and varied grain. It is overall in very good, robust condition with only very minor signs of age. There are variations in the colour, in keeping with vintage.
The beautifully crafted gatefold mechanism allows it to extend from just 21cm to a maximum length of 150cm, allowing it to seat up to 8 diners. With just one leaf extended it is 85cm long. The depth is 88cm.
The Kleppe Møbelfabrikk maker mark is stamped to the underside (pictured).
