A compact 1960s metamorphic captain's dry bar by Danish designer Reno Wahl Iversen for Dyrlund.
It is finely crafted from rosewood with lavish brass detail. It opens on smooth casters, revealing shelves for bottles, three baize-lined drawers, two metal trays for drink-making accoutrements and an ample surface for drink preparation. Two small handles extend to form supports for the hinged extending top. The rosewood surface unfolds to reveal tough black laminate.
It has been fully reconditioned and is ready for use. The baize, brass and rosewood are all very clean. There are minor discrepancies in the tone of the wood, commensurate with age.
