1960s Danish Desk Rosewood & Chrome Bodil Kjaer E Pedersen James Bond

1960s Danish "901" Executive Desk in Rosewood & Chrome by Bodil Kjaer

£24,000.00Price

An iconic executive "model 901" desk in Rio rosewood & chrome by Danish designer Bodil Kjaer.

Made circa 1965 for the Danish manufacturer E. Pedersen & Son, it is in superb restored condition. It bears the E. Pedersen maker label to the underside.

This architectural desk (or work table, as Kjaer described it) has featured in three James Bond films as well as Kingsman and many other media events. It has the most desirable Brazilian rosewood finish, with rich colour and florid figuring. The four deep drawers are lined in oak.

This version has minimalist drawer pulls rather than keys. Its large dimensions are perfect for the more prestigious interior.
