£2,400.00Price
An original 1950s "Reclining Chair" by British designer Robin Day for Hille.
Robin Day rose to prominence in 1951, designing now iconic furniture for the Festival of Britain. The Reclining Chair was one of his most celebrated designs.
The head cushion is adjustable, the distinctive wide armrests providing a platform for books or drinks.
In excellent condition throughout, the steel legs support an angled and very comfortable seat.
It has been recently re-upholstered in a woven off-white De Ploeg wool. The fabric is in very good, clean condition with minimal signs of use.
