1950s East German Space Age Rocket Pendant Lamp Chandelier
£500.00Price
A rare original 1950s space-age pendant lamp from East Berlin.
The form evokes the shape of a rocket, reflecting the glamour of the early space race. It is a beautiful piece of social (and socialist) history.
The glass is held in place with eyecatching brass bolts.
The plafonnier creates both up and down light. There is some surface wear, commensurate with vintage.
