An original 1950s Danish rosewood "model 18" sideboard in rosewood by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun Møbelfabrik.
This low sideboard features beautifully sculpted handles and elegantly tapered legs. The rosewood at the rear is as richly figured as the front. This would make it a perfect room divider.
The four drawers have capatious volume. The top drawer features baize-lined cutlery section. Others have strikingly grained wooden interior. The main body has a long adjustable shelf.
The fine detailing and materials indicate the highest design standards and execution of the period. It has been carefully reconditioned throughout.
