1950s Brazilian Dinamarquesa Chair Jorge Zalszupin Palisander
  • 1950s Brazilian Dinamarquesa Chair by Jorge Zalszupin

    £0.00Price

An original 1950s "DinaMarquesa" chair in palisander wood by Jorge Zalszupin.

This striking design is Zalszupin's most famous creation. Influenced by Danish designs, Zalszupin refined his chair to impossibly fine contours. Like Gio Ponti's designs, it retains great structural strength despite its delicate appearance.

A particularly rare, early iteration, this chair has been fully restored. The joints have been re-set and the wood re-polished. The upholstery is cream velvet with blue wool seat pad.

One of the finest midcentury designs to come out of Brazil, this chair would enhance any interior.
